These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of OSRS Scry Exchange at https://osrs-scry.exchange (the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
Scry provides Grand Exchange market analytics, forecasts, desks, workspace tools, and related features for Old School RuneScape players. Features may change, be rate-limited, or be gated by subscription tier.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the digital-consent age in your country).
- You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable law or Jagex’s rules for Old School RuneScape
- Abuse, scrape excessively, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service or its APIs
- Circumvent subscription, rate limits, authentication, or security controls
- Upload malware or attempt unauthorised access to systems or other users’ data
- Resell or redistribute paid outputs as a competing commercial data feed without permission
4. Market data & third-party sources
Price and volume data are sourced primarily from the OSRS Wiki Real-time Prices API and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular trade. Jagex Ltd. is not affiliated with Scry.
5. No financial or investment advice
The Service is for information and entertainment related to an in-game virtual economy only. It is not financial, investment, tax, or trading advice. Virtual item values can be volatile. You alone decide whether and how to act on any signal, forecast, or alert. Past performance does not predict future results.
6. Subscriptions & billing
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe according to the plan you select.
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law (including applicable cooling-off rights).
- We may change pricing with reasonable notice for renewals; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance where permitted.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade of paid features.
7. Intellectual property
Scry branding, software, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. Old School RuneScape and related marks belong to Jagex Ltd. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-competitive use subject to these Terms.
8. Availability & changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR VIRTUAL ITEM VALUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) GBP £50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach, risk, or discontinuation of the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers and liability limits) will survive termination.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers in the UK/EEA may bring claims in their local courts where mandatory consumer law requires.
